On October 30, admission to the Bridgehouse Museum is free between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., when author Patrick McBriarty will be launching his latest book, Drawbridges Open and Close - the first in a series of children's books that reveal how the mechanical marvels around us work. Patrick McBriarty will be on hand to sign this book, as well as his award-winning Chicago River Bridges book and copies of his documentary Chicago Drawbridges.

Do not miss this opportunity to get little-known insights on Chicago's bridges from Patrick himself! The books and DVD will be available for sale at the museum.
