The McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum welcomed more than 3,900 visitors during the fourth annual Open House Chicago on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19 -- a 59% increase over last year's event attendance!
Thank you to all the wonderful Chicago Architecture Foundation and Friends of the Chicago River staff and volunteers who helped make Open House Chicago a success at the Bridgehouse Museum -- and to all our visitors for making us one of this spectacular architecture event's top destinations! A special thanks to Jim Phillips of chicagoloopbridges.com and Patrick McBriarty of chicagodrawbridges.com for sharing their bridge expertise with thousands of visitors in the museum's gear room this weekend!
